The Details
The School of Worship will run from 12pm to 2pm every Sunday (with the exception of Refinery Sundays). The instruction is free to all Pipeline Church Members (There will be a $10 monthly fee to cover the cost of teaching materials). Non Pipeline Church members can enroll for $100/month. Since you are receiving something that would usually have great expense attached to it we do have some expectations. In return we want you to contribute to enhance our worship at the Pipeline Church as well as the future of the Pipeline Church School of Worship.
The Two Sides of the School
There are two sides to the School of Worship. We're not interested in just giving free music lessons. We are passionate about developing deep worship leaders with musical ability. Involvement in both sides of instruction are mandatory if you want to be involved in the school, the two sides are:
Side 1: Musical Instruction
You have the opportunity to learn to play an instrument or to develop your voice for free! Instruction will be offered in the areas of Beginner Lead and Rhythm Guitar, Bass Guitar, Vocals, Drums and Percussion, as well as Advanced Lead and Rhythm Guitar.
Side 2: Worship Instruction
Immediatly following the muscial instruction will be instruction in the areas of worship leadership, theology of worship, band dynamics, and other relevant topics that relate to developing worship leaders with great depth and understanding.
